Konjic ( Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a small town in a wonderful valley of the Neretva river. The town is located on a half a way ride from Sarajevo to Mostar. Konjic owes its magnificent scenery to the crystal clear green water of Neretva which runs through the town, a couple of smaller rivers joining Neretva, and mighty mountains (Prenj, Bjelasnica, Igman) surrounding the valley. This is not all! There are the two most attractive lakes, Jablanicko and Boracko (glacier lake). Stop by and enjoy the most beautiful landscape!

"Sarajevo-Konjic railroad - absolutely a must. The train ride takes only one and half hour one way and you will not regret it. On its route (67 km), There are 58 tunnels and numerous bridges (viaducts) on its 67 km long rout. The most incredible railroad I have seen climbs up and down the mountains in serpentines - sometimes you can see tracks on four different levels! The price for that pleasure is low - less then 4 KM. It is absolutely worth it!"  - VirtualTourist.com
